Directions to the San Francisco Aloha Festival 

 

PLEASE NOTE (7/13/2010): due to construction throughout the Presidio area, there might be delays and detours. It appears Lincoln Blvd between McDowell Ave. and Montgomery St. will be closed, adversely affecting traffic approaching from the Golden Gate Bridge area.  Please observe all signs and drive carefully.

When you reach the Presidio, follow street signs to the "Visitor Center", "Main Post" or "Officers' Club".  Those locations take you to the festival site.  Please follow parking signs and attendant instructions as you approach the area.  You might be asked to enter via Montgomery Street to ease traffic congestion.
TAKING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Via BART:
- exit Montgomerey Station.
- Walk to Market and 3rd.
- Take the Stockton bus to Chestnut and Filmore and transfer to bus #43.

DRIVING FROM NORTH BAY / MARIN COUNTY
- Take US-101 SOUTH over the Golden Gate Bridge.
- Stay in the right lane near the toll plaza.
- Bear RIGHT on the MERCHANT ROAD off ramp.
- Turn LEFT onto LINCOLN BLVD.
- Go about 1.5 miles, following signs to "Visitor Center" or "Main Post".
- Lincoln Blvd turns into SHERIDAN AVE.
- Turn LEFT onto MONTGOMERY ST to reach the parking lot.
DRIVING FROM EAST BAY
- Take I-80 WEST over the Bay Bridge.
- Take the MISSION ST / FELL ST exit.
- Merge onto US-101 NORTH.
- Take the MISSION ST / DUBOCE AVE exit.
- Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp.
- Merge onto MISSION ST.
- Turn LEFT onto VAN NESS AVE.
- Turn LEFT onto LOMBARD ST (it's 2 blocks past FILBERT).
- Stay in the left lane and look for the PRESIDIO sign. After Divisadero, Lombard splits.
- Turn LEFT at the left arrow signal to stay on LOMBARD.
- Pass through the Lombard Gates, following signs to "Visitor Center" or "Main Post".
- Turn RIGHT onto PRESIDIO BLVD (at the "T" intersection).
- Go straight. Presidio Blvd turns into LINCOLN BLVD.
- Certain roads might be closed, so you may be redirected back up Lincoln to make a LEFT onto SHERIDAN AVE and a LEFT onto MONTGOMERY ST to reach the parking lot.
DRIVING FROM SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT & PENINSULA
- Take US-101 NORTH.
- Take the MISSION ST / DUBOCE AVE exit.
- Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp.
- Merge onto MISSION ST.
- Turn LEFT onto VAN NESS AVE.
- Turn LEFT onto LOMBARD ST (it's 2 blocks past FILBERT).

DRIVING FROM SOUTH BAY / HWY 280 PENINSULA
- Take I-280 NORTH into San Francisco.
- I-280 becomes JUNIPERO SERRA BLVD.
- Turn SLIGHT LEFT into 19th AVENUE.
- Stay in one of the two right lanes.
- Veer RIGHT toward PARK PRESIDIO when you reach Golden Gate Park.
- Turn RIGHT onto LAKE ST (it's 3 blocks past GEARY).
- Go until the street ends at ARGUELLO BLVD and turn LEFT.
- ARGUELLO BLVD will go uphill, curve right, then go downhill.
- Turn LEFT onto MORAGA AVE.
- Turn RIGHT onto MONTGOMERY ST to reach the Festival parking lot.
