The open & master events were 12 miles from the harbor to the Cement
Ship at Seacliff and back. The Malia & Novice course was 6 miles from
harborto the Wharf, Mile bouy, Soquel bouy and back to the harbor. The
early races were calm and hot while the men's race had some wind and choppy
seas for the return trip from the Ship.
This menehune went for the ride on the catamaran chasing the men's event.
It was a great day for it.
